Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional for the role of In Vivo Biology to support preclinical drug discovery and development programs. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing in vivo pharmacology studies, handling laboratory animals, performing dosing and sample collection procedures, analysing data, and supporting efficacy and mechanistic studies across therapeutic areas

Key Responsibilities

• Design, establish, and validate in vivo models of fibrosis across key organs like lung, liver and Kidney
• Independently plan and conduct in vivo efficacy, PK/PD, and mechanistic studies in rodent models
• Develop detailed study protocols, animal handling SOPs, and dosing regimens (oral, IP, IV routes)
Coordinate study scheduling, randomization, and endpoint collection according to GLP-aligned practices
• Analyze quantitative data (biochemical assays, histopathology scoring, imaging, gene expression)
• Interpret pharmacodynamic readouts to establish dose–response relationships and efficacy profiles
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for internal project reviews
• Support biomarker discovery and translational studies using tissue and biofluid samples
• Ensure all experiments adhere to CPCSEA and IAEC guidelines and institutional animal ethics standards
• Maintain accurate experimental records, data integrity, and traceability per GLP principles

Skills Required

• Proven expertise in fibrosis models (at least two organ systems preferred)
• Proficiency with biochemical assays (hydroxyproline, ALT/AST, renal markers), histology/IHC, and molecular biology techniques (qPCR, ELISA, Western blot)
• Working knowledge of PK/PD integration and translational endpoints is highly desirable
• Experience in data analysis software (GraphPad Prism, Excel, statistical tools) required
• Familiarity with GLP environments, OECD guidelines, and IND-enabling documentation are advantageous
