Job Title : Manager – Medical Services
Location : Whitefield, Bangalore
Qualification : The medical advisor often has a medical education and background, and is therefore medically qualified.
Experience : 7 to 10 years
Description:
The Medical Advisor provides a bridge between clinical research and the marketing and sales department as well as the remaining departments within the organisation. He/she specifically provides an authoritative opinion and answers medically based questions concerning medical, legal and regulatory matters enabling colleagues to comply with the relevant statutory requirements.

Responsibilities:
Medical Services [Medico- Marketing]
- Organize Medical training programs for promoting company brands & related healthcare issues.
- Co-ordinate Brand Strategy Consultancy Programs, providing scientific brand promotion strategies to Pharmaceutical companies (including strategies for new launches, heritage brands etc.).
- Recommend New Product suggestions for the profitability of the company.
- Impart Strategic information support to Product Management Team.
- Discuss and built communication packages- Articles, newsletters, booklets, Training Manuals, New Product Launch Manuals, and Product Monographs.
- Create brand awareness through innovative Medico-Marketing, Doctors Group Meetings [DGM] presentations, Seminars and Symposia.
- Help in the Publication of Medical Magazine and scanned various International Medical literature.
- Conceptualize and conduct a study of the brand which could be used for product promotion.
- Prepare and maintained Text and Visualization –V.A.B. and L.B.Ls.
Clinical Research & Regulatory Work
- Conducted , scrutinized in phase III clinical trials in pharmaceutical branded generics
- Formulate and organized phase iv clinical trials and submission of study results
- Streamline administrative practices and improving service delivery standards
Relationship Management
- Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts, medical fraternity, opinion leaders and nutrition advisors, thereby ensuring high customer satisfaction by providing them with complete product support.
- Close co-ordination with the sales managers, product managers and zonal heads, on medico-marketing and liasoning activities.
- Evaluate performance & monitoring depots sales and marketing activities.
Product Management
- Organize /conduct medical educational programs, seminars & conferences for the doctors.
- Design & implement medico-marketing activities such as camps, doctor’s meets/ conferences for enhancing brand visibility/ coverage & reach.
- Conceptualize and implement sales promotional activities such as Selection / Targeting the KOL’s (Key Opinion Leaders in the field and organizing CMEs) as a part of market development and brand building effort.
Training and Development
- Planning designing and imparting training to new fellow employees and other staff.
- Plan staffing needs, recruitment & managed personnel assigned to the facility.
- Help subordinate staff in matching their personal goal with organizational goal so that they can grow with organization.
- Manage grievances of subordinate staff and helped them resolve conflicts.
Tasks
- Initiate, supervise the performance and progress of clinical trials
- Provide proactive input in the strategic medical management and marketing
- Develop and implement strategic direction within key therapeutic areas
- Contribute to the design and approval of promotional materials
- Develop effective relationships with key influencers and external organizations
- Co-ordinate and utilize specialist knowledge with colleagues in formulating and implementing medical strategy
- Answer medical or technical questions concerning protocol and product
- Provide training and education to internal staff and participate in protocol development
- Share knowledge and technical expertise with other team members while providing medical training to field representatives and other internal staff
