Novel Drug Delivery
The method by which a drug is delivered, can have a significant effect on its efficacy. This growing need for a multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of therapeutics to targets in tissues, triggered the Bioplus R &D team to work on this cutting edge of technology. This has effectively resulted in producing the best novel drug delivery systems (NDDS) for some of the most complicated molecules used in medicine. The extensive areas of Novel Drug Delivery Systems research and application that Bioplus is currently involved in include
• Dendrimer research involving the following therapeutic molecules- Paclitaxel, Amphotericin B, Indomethacin, Ketoprofen and Acyclovir formulations.
• Hydrogel based formulations– Chloramphenicol, Ciprofloxacin and Ketorolac formulations.
• Food Formulationtions – A Stable, white and free flowing DHA formulation.
• Liposomal based drug delivery systems–5-Fluorouracil (5-FU), Methotrexate and Amphotericin B is in process. |
