R&D expenditure over the past decade
has seen a sharp increase in the level of IPR activities across
the world. This reflects the growing importance of IPR in
the knowledge-based economy, as the business community and
research institutions are increasingly making use of IPRs
to protect their inventions.
Bioplus has an IPR driven R&D approach,
which helps in developing niche products and processes for
long term economic sustenance in regulatory markets. In 2004-
2007, we have filed over 35 patent applications at the global
level. An intellectual team with R&D experience responsible
for evaluation of processes developed in house and protection
of the IP. This team also interacts with patent attorneys
and International Patenting Bodies over the filed applications.
